Why you should not move for a few minutes after sex to get conceived?

Medical experts and fertility experts have acknowledged this fact and have recommended women to follow this who seriously want to get conceived.

They advise women to lay in bed for 10 to 15 minutes after intercourse. Some tell that the women need to have their feet in the air. Well experts say there is no connection to this and your feet needn’t be in the air. Your pelvis does not move when you put your legs in the air. A very important point to be noted is please don't go the bathroom during this time, wait for atleast 15 minutes. As going to bathroom may reduce the chances of the sperm reaching the cervix. The wait for 10 to 15 minutes will help the sperm going to get into the cervix and will make it remain in the cervix.

Even some evidences also suggests that keeping sperm in the vagina for at least 15 minutes after sex may increase your chances of getting pregnant - so while there’s no need to do a headstand, you may want to hang out on your back with a pillow under your hips for a bit after having sex.

Another expert opinion says that after sex, you can increase your chances of conception by lying flat for half an hour after sex - by getting up and moving around immediately, the sperm in your vagina will start to leak out without ever reaching the fertile cervical mucous. To further help gravity, you may wish to elevate your hips slightly by sliding a pillow in under your bottom. Sperm count boost and sperm motility boost can efficiently couple to conceive a baby.

We hope this tip on getting conceived was very useful to all the TTC couples.
